6th grade students doing a hands on investigation in science class

Sixth grade science students stepped into the role of detectives this week as they investigated the causes of global warming. Working through detailed case files, students carefully analyzed multiple pieces of evidence and collaborated to identify patterns and possible causes. As they examined the data, students made strong connections between human activities and changes in Earth’s climate. Through discussion and evidence-based reasoning, they explored how factors such as fossil fuel use, deforestation, and greenhouse gas emissions contribute to global warming. This engaging, hands-on investigation helped students strengthen their critical thinking skills while deepening their understanding of climate science.
