We have exciting news from the North Alabama Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Mountain Gap Middle School had two student projects represent our school at the competition on Friday, March 6.

Cooper Catlett and David von Herrmann's project, “The Sleepy Brain,” earned 2nd place in the Behavioral & Social Sciences Division and will advance to the Alabama State Science Fair in Auburn on Saturday, April 11. They also received a Special Award of Excellence from the NASA/MSFC Retirees Association for their outstanding work. Ben Caruso, Ewan McElhaney and Luca Noletto also competed in the Regional Fair but did not advance to the state level.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students who participated and represented Mountain Gap so well. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off! Also, thank you to the teachers and parents who guided all of the students who participated at the school and/or district level.
