A student doing an activity about Newton's Laws at our roller skating field trip

Our 8th graders had a fantastic time at Roller Time Skate Center during their recent STEM field trip! Before hitting the rink, students reviewed Newton’s Laws of Motion and discussed how forces and motion impact everyday life. Once on skates, they were able to experience those laws in action, feeling firsthand how speed, friction, and inertia affect movement. It was an exciting opportunity to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences while enjoying time with friends. Learning truly came to life as students rolled, laughed, and explored science in motion!
