Our 8th grade students recently stepped into the lab to investigate how light behaves through reflection and refraction. Using mirrors, lasers, and prisms, they experimented with the law of reflection by measuring angles and observing how light bounces off surfaces. Students also explored refraction by shining light through different materials and watching how it bends when it moves from one medium to another. This hands-on experience helped students connect what they’ve learned in class to real-world applications and deepened their understanding of how light interacts with the world around us.
