On April 22, Mountain Gap Middle School proudly celebrated Purple Up Day by honoring our military-connected students during a special S2S Military Student and Friends Lunch. Students from Student 2 Student (S2S) invited their peers to join them for lunch and learn more about what life can be like as the child of a military service member. The event provided a meaningful opportunity for students to build understanding, friendships, and appreciation for the unique experiences of military families. Each military-connected student also received a Military Child Appreciation certificate and a gift bag in recognition of their strength and resilience.
