MGMS students are putting their teamwork and community spirit into action! This month, students are participating in a special House service project to support Notorious D.O.G., a local shelter dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming dogs in need. This month's project is hosted by Studiose. Other houses will be completing service projects later in the year. But just because you're in a different house, doesn't mean you shouldn't participate.
Not only will this project help provide critical supplies for shelter animals, but it’s also a great way for students to show their school pride. Donations earn points for your House!
The drive runs from September 2 until October 2. We are accepting donations of the following items:
Pet Comfort & Care: Blankets, towels, toys, and chew bones
Food & Treats: Dog treats, Peanut butter (must NOT be sugar-free), Purina One Lamb & Rice dog food
Walking & Wearable Supplies: Collars, medium/large leashes, and poop bags
Cleaning & Health Supplies: Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, and hand soap
To ensure your House gets credit for your generosity:
Attach a note or label to your donation items that includes your name and the name of your House.
Drop off your items in the designated collection areas at school.
Every item donated helps animals at Notorious D.O.G. while bringing your House one step closer to victory. Let's show our community what our middle schoolers can achieve together!
