Camping Day in Mrs. Bain’s classroom was an exciting, hands-on learning experience that brought the outdoors inside. Students rotated through engaging, camping-themed stations where they strengthened key math and literacy skills in fun and meaningful ways. They practiced graphing by tracking favorite camping snacks, explored measurement through “packing” and comparing gear, and built confidence in subtraction using real-life camping scenarios. During literacy time, students read short passages about outdoor adventures and answered comprehension questions to deepen their understanding.
