On Wednesday, November 5, MMS hosted our second annual Career Day. Students spent the morning exploring possible future careers. They talked to representatives from several companies, then went outside to experience an ambulance with HEMSI, a squad car with HPD, and a street sweeper built in Huntsville by Schwarze, Inc.
Companies and organizations represented:
Anderson Flight Training
Favour Group Real Estate
Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc (HEMSI)
Huntsville Fire and Rescue
Huntsville Green Ambassadors
Huntsville Hospital Health System
Huntsville Police Department
Lawless Lumber
Schwarze Industries
Monica Yother, Artist

A volunteer demonstrated the proper way to lie on a HEMSI gurney.

Eddie Magdaleno tried on the fireman's helmet.

Lots of kids were interested in careers in Health Care.

Schwarze, Inc brought a Huntsville-built street sweeper. The entire side of the truck opened up showing students exactly how it works.
