white ball of clay with seeds inside and dry flowers on outside called seed bombs in a hand

Some of our 3rd grade GATE students recently wrapped up an amazing service-learning project focused on pollinators native to Alabama. After researching the important role pollinators play in our ecosystem, the group “The Seed Bombers” created seed bombs filled with pollinator-friendly wildflower seeds.

They made a seed bomb for each of their classmates so they could help spread their project and encourage others to plant flowers that support bees, butterflies, and other important pollinators! They even decorated their seed bombs with some dried flowers! Great job today boys!
