On Wednesday, April 30, Montview hosted its very first Fairy Tale Ball, and it was a day to remember! Students and staff worked hard in the weeks leading up to the big event, and their efforts paid off with a truly enchanting celebration.
The day began with a Royal Breakfast in the beautifully decorated Montview Castleteria, where students enjoyed a special meal surrounded by fairy tale-themed decorations and costumes.
Next, the fifth-grade class delighted the audience with a performance of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, bringing humor and creativity to the classic tale.
After the performance, students participated in Hallway Tours, walking through the school to view incredible fairy tale displays created by each grade level. The decorations transformed the hallways into a storybook wonderland.
Throughout the day, students rotated to hear special guest readers share classic and modern fairy tales. These read-alouds brought stories to life and sparked imaginations.
The grand finale returned to the Castleteria, where kindergartners and third graders performed their own fairy tale presentations. Then, the much-anticipated Fairy Tale Ball began! Students danced, enjoyed cupcakes, and received special wands to commemorate the occasion.
It was a magical day full of storytelling, creativity, and fun—one that students will remember for years to come. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Fairy Tale Ball!
