Montview is proud to honor Ms. Veronica Caudle as Teacher of the Year. She serves as an exceptional K–3 collaborative teacher and brings decades of experience, dedication, and passion to her work with students. Ms. Caudle began her teaching career in 1978 after graduating from Alabama A&M University. She holds certifications in special education for grades P–12, educational administration, and early childhood education, reflecting her deep knowledge and commitment to supporting all learners.

From a young age, Ms. Caudle knew she wanted to be a teacher. As a child, she loved playing school and taking on the role of the teacher, and her dream was encouraged by her 3rd and 11th grade teachers, who noticed her natural ability to teach and help others learn. Although she took a break from public school teaching to open and operate a daycare for infants through age five, she soon realized how much she missed the classroom and the joy of working with students.

Ms. Caudle’s favorite age group is elementary, where she feels she can make the greatest impact. After retiring from teaching in Georgia in 2017, she discovered that her passion for education had not faded. In 2024, she returned to the classroom, continuing to inspire students and colleagues with her strong work ethic, dedication, and love for teaching. Montview is incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Caudle as a collaborative teacher and is grateful for the positive difference she makes every day.
