The Daughters of the American Revolution visited Montview from February 17–20, 2026, to teach students about American history. Throughout the week, they met with different grade levels and shared lessons about Presidents Day, clothing from the American Revolution, and the meaning of the American Flag. Their final presentation focused on the importance of the flag, how it should be treated, and what it means when it is displayed in different ways. Students received small American flags to wave while singing “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and were also given a book titled The Flag We Love. The visit was an enjoyable and educational experience for everyone. Thank you DAR!!
