Montview welcomed families and community members to its annual Gallery Night on Tuesday, May 12th. The event served as a celebration of student learning and creativity by showcasing projects, performances, and activities students have worked on throughout the school year. Parents had the opportunity to walk through the school and see the hard work and accomplishments of students from many different grade levels and clubs.

Students in grades 3–5 proudly displayed projects they created during their activity clubs over the past several weeks. Guests were able to see a variety of creative and educational work that highlighted the students’ talents and teamwork. Pre-K students and the Motown Magic Activity Club also performed during the evening, providing entertainment for families and visitors. Steven Miller added to the atmosphere by serving as the evening’s harpist and performing music throughout the event.

Fifth grade students played an important role as well by dressing up and serving hors d'oeuvres to guests, helping make the night feel special and welcoming. Community partners also participated by presenting an Asian Community Culture Presentation, giving families the opportunity to learn more about different cultures and traditions. Another exciting feature of the evening was the display of the school’s new building floor plans in the hallways, allowing visitors to get a glimpse of future plans for Montview.

Gallery Night included so many activities and displays that it would be difficult to name them all. The event was a huge success and showcased the dedication of Montview’s students, teachers, staff, and community partners. Everyone who attended enjoyed an evening full of learning, creativity, and school pride.
