On September 8, Montview Elementary was excited to welcome families to our first Parent Party of the 2026–2027 school year! It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with our school community, learn more about ways to support their children, and build relationships with staff and other families.

During the event, families received important school updates and information about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved at Montview. Parents also learned about ways they can volunteer and play an active role in making our school community strong and connected. We enjoyed engaging in our “Keys to Engaged Parenting” discussion, which provided families with helpful ideas and strategies for staying involved in their child’s education and supporting their success both at home and at school.

Families also participated in our fun “SHOW UP and POWER UP Bingo” activity, which encouraged parents to learn more about our school and discover different ways they can participate throughout the school year. The event was filled with conversation, learning, laughter, and opportunities to strengthen the partnership between home and school.

We were also excited to partner with Second Mile for this special event. Their support will continue throughout the 2026–2027 school year as we work together to provide meaningful opportunities and resources for our Montview families.

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who took the time to join us and make our first Parent Party a success! We look forward to continuing to grow our family-school partnerships and creating even more opportunities for families to connect, engage, and be involved. We hope to see everyone at our monthly Parent Parties throughout the school year!
