On Wednesday, September 23, Montview Elementary celebrated Hispanic Heritage with a special program honoring the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic community. Ms. Ana Santos Diaz welcomed our students and families and shared an important message about the value of learning about and appreciating different cultures. Mr. Rudy gave everyone a fun Spanish lesson.

Students were excited to enjoy special performances by the Peruvian and Mexican Latin Root Dancers. Their energetic and colorful performances brought the celebration to life, and our students loved watching and experiencing the music and traditions through dance. Fourth-grade Hispanic students also had the opportunity to share information about different Hispanic personalities, helping everyone learn more about the accomplishments and contributions of individuals from Hispanic cultures.

The program was a wonderful opportunity for our Montview community to celebrate diversity, learn from one another, and recognize the importance of cultural understanding. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a meaningful and memorable experience for our students. A special thank you to Ms. Hatcher for putting together such a fabulous presentation and helping Montview celebrate Hispanic Heritage in such a special way!
