Recently the Class of 2026 took an exciting trip to iFLY in Atlanta, GA. iFLY is an indoor skydiving facility that gives people the chance to experience the thrill free fall without ever jumping out of an airplane. Students have been looking forward to this trip since the start of the school year.

Before her flight, Makayla Bradley said, “I’m really excited to do this. I was a little nervous before, but now I’m ready to go in!”

Not only did our students get the opportunity to fly, but they also learned the science behind the powerful vertical wind tunnels that are used to make indoor skydiving possible.

“Learning about the physics behind indoor skydiving was so interesting,” says Ainslee Crisp. “I got to apply a fun experience to science, a field I am very interested in!”

This exhilarating experience was a gift from our principal, Mrs. White, to celebrate the seniors’ outstanding performance and perfect attendance during the ACT last spring. Keep soaring, Class of 2026, you’re flying towards great things!
