On November 23, 2025 New Century Technology High School set up their first tinsel tree on Tinsel Trail in Downtown Huntsville, Alabama. The Tinsel Trail is held in Big Spring International Park and it showcases hundreds of locally decorated Christmas trees. Many companies make trees this time of year for promotion and outreach. This walk provides people with the opportunity to learn about new businesses, engage with the community, and spend time with their families.
Our very own Root Creations Club decided to make decorations for the tree. In Root Creations, they use their crafting skills to give to the community and orchestrate service projects. They gathered all of our 40 clubs together to develop their own unique ornaments for our tree. Every ornament showcased something special about its individual club and everybody seemed to have a blast developing their ornament and they are excited for Huntsville to see their tree! The Tinsel Trail will stay open for visitors until December 31, 2025, so make sure to make a trip downtown to visit our tree soon!
