New Century Technology High School

Through the club Her Health Initiative, students partnered with Free2Teach to create hygiene packets for students across North Alabama; kits that do far more than meet a basic need. When students lack simple items like deodorant or face wash, it can affect their confidence, attendance, and academic performance, creating barriers no child should have to face. These packets remove those obstacles, allowing students to walk into school feeling prepared, supported, and valued. Now impacting schools across Madison, Limestone, and Huntsville counties from kindergarten through twelfth grade, these kits are making a meaningful difference—offering dignity, reassurance, and the powerful reminder that someone truly cares. Her Health Initiative has delivered kits to all of the NCTHS classrooms.
