Dr. Snider, representing Alabama History Day, visited Mrs. Carter’s class where students shared overviews of their History Day projects and explained how their topics connect to our magnet strands. She listened as students described their research focus, methods, and the real-world relevance of their work, offering thoughtful feedback and encouragement. Dr. Snider also provided valuable information about the Alabama History Day state competition and the opportunity to advance to the national level, outlining expectations and next steps in the process. Her visit not only affirmed the quality of the students’ work, but also inspired them to see how their research, presentation skills, and critical thinking align with the innovation and leadership emphasized throughout our magnet programs.
