In honor of Earth Day, Ridgecrest classes each had a No Power Hour where they did not use screens or devices. Our GATE students wrote and won a grant to provide all Rockets with a Rocket-shaped flashlight to use during No Power Hour. The GATE students also wrote an email explanation to all the teachers with instructions on how to complete their No Power Hour. It was such a great idea and we are so proud of our GATE students for bringing this successful program to our school!
