Ridgecrest Elementary's Hispanic Heritage Celebration scheduled for October 1st 4-5:30 with a border of flowers and swirls

On October 1st, Ridgecrest hosted our annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration! So many Rocket families came out to celebrate with us!! We had an incredible time!!

A big thank you to our delicious food trucks Bori Munchies, Pepitos Snacks and Snack-Shack Huntsville for all of the amazing food!! Also thank you to El Coyote for donating chips and salsa so our families could have a free snack!!

Ms. Aguilar led Lotería and we had some very excited winners!  They walked away with a huge pail of slime, a big container of bouncy putty, a soccer ball, a huge color book, a collection of Stitch stickers and coloring books, and a cornhole game. We had a bounce pad, a craft table, a temporary tattoo table, music, and to end the celebration we had two piñatas that were a huge hit!!

This event would not be possible without our amazing staff who set up, stayed to man the tables with crafts, tattoos and free food, and styed to clean up!

It was an absolutely phenomenal event and fun was had by all!
