On April 9th, we had a very special MAGICAL visitor to Ridgecrest! The President of The Caring Link dressed in a sparkly tutu and fairy wings made of book pages to come read to our students. She brought wonder and smiles to our students!
Every year The Caring Link provides a Book Fairy grant to Ridgecrest that helps student shop the Scholastic Book Fair! Their Book Fairy fund touches almost every student in our school - helping pay tax, helping put books into the hands of students, and spreading joy of reading to as many students as possible.
We are so thankful for how much The Caring Link does for Ridgecrest! The Book Fairy grant is only a portion of the programs they sponsor at our school.
