To celebrate both positive behavior and Hispanic Heritage Month, our PBIS Committee decided to host a lotería event! Lotería is similar to bingo and our students had so much fun!

Students who SOARed in the first quarter of school were able to participate and chose a bag of chips or Takis, a piece of candy, and lotería card. We paired up two grades so each pair was an older student and a younger student. They worked together to make sure they got blackout and cover all of the squares of the lotería card.

Mrs. Gatzke, our librarian, called the cards in both English and Spanish, and everyone hit blackout with the same card, causing so much excitement!! Each student recieved a pencil and a sticker as a prize afterwards.
