Rolling Hills Elementary School is proud to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by one of our own. Mrs. Loar, a dedicated and passionate 5th grade teacher, has been recognized as one of Madison County’s Teachers of the Year by The Schools Foundation during the prestigious Golden Apple Awards. In addition, she was honored by Huntsville City Schools as the Teacher of the Year for Rolling Hills Elementary School at the district’s 2026 Galaxy Awards Night.

She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every student not only grows academically, but also develops confidence, responsibility, and a love for learning.
