On March 3rd, Rolling Hills Elementary was honored to welcome a very special guest reader for Read Across America Day — Dr. Clarence Sutton, Superintendent of Huntsville City Schools.
Dr. Sutton spent time reading to our 3rd grade classes, sharing not only a wonderful story, but also his encouragement and enthusiasm for learning. Our students were engaged, excited, and inspired by his visit!
Dr. Sutton has dedicated nearly 30 years to public education, serving as a teacher, principal, and central office administrator. His leadership and commitment to student success are evident across our district.
We are grateful for Dr. Sutton taking time out of his busy schedule to celebrate reading with our students. Events like these help foster a love of literacy and remind our scholars that reading opens the door to endless possibilities.
Thank you, Dr. Sutton, for supporting RHES and inspiring our readers!
