Rolling Hills Elementary proudly hosted a beautiful and inspiring Black History Program that honored the legacy, resilience, and excellence of those who have shaped our history.
We were warmly welcomed by our very own 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Shoulders, whose heartfelt opening set the tone for a meaningful celebration.
Our talented 6th Grade Choir, under the direction of Mr. Davis, delivered a powerful song selection that filled the room with pride and inspiration.
We were especially honored to welcome Ms. Youlanda F. Caudle, First Vice President of the Huntsville-Madison County NAACP and Chair of Women in the NAACP. A prominent human resources professional and civil rights leader with over 34 years of experience, Ms. Caudle shared powerful words that reminded our students of the importance of leadership, courage, and service.
Thank you Ms. Sherrell for organizing such an amazing program for our students. Programs like this reflect the heart of RHES — celebrating culture, honoring history, and empowering our students to lead with purpose.
