Rolling Hills Elementary School students and staff came together to celebrate Earth Day with a meaningful and hands-on Beautification and Clean-Up Day across campus.
Throughout the day, students worked alongside their classmates to take pride in their school environment and give back to the Earth. Outside classrooms, teams participated in a variety of service projects designed to improve both appearance and sustainability around campus.
Students helped plant colorful flowers to brighten outdoor spaces, giving new life to garden areas and walkways. Others worked diligently picking up litter and debris, ensuring that school grounds were clean, safe, and welcoming for all. Several classes also collaborated to build raised garden beds, laying the foundation for future learning opportunities in gardening, science, and environmental stewardship.
The event not only enhanced the physical beauty of RHES, but also reinforced important lessons about responsibility, teamwork, and caring for the environment. Students demonstrated pride in their school community while gaining a deeper understanding of how small actions can make a big impact.
RHES extends appreciation to all staff, students, and volunteers who helped make the Earth Day Beautification & Clean-Up Day a success. Their efforts truly helped make our campus a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful place to learn and grow.
