Teacher Appreciation Week at Rolling Hills Elementary was truly one for the books as staff members were celebrated all week long with thoughtful gifts, meals, treats, and acts of kindness from amazing community partners and supporters.

The week kicked off on Monday with special surprises from KBR, who sponsored something for teachers and staff every day throughout the week. Staff were reminded that they are truly “lifesavers” for the impact they make each day. Lunch was generously donated by Marco’s Pizza, helping start the week with appreciation and support.

Tuesday continued the celebration as KBR provided breakfast pastries and thoughtful gifts reminding teachers how brightly they shine for students each day. Lunch was sponsored by Conrad Industries and served by community partners at Yulista, showing continued support for RHES educators.

On Wednesday, staff enjoyed a fun and relaxing day featuring a take-and-make trucker hat station, a Bouquet Bar where teachers created their own floral arrangements, and wellness and relaxation gifts sponsored by KBR. Even with an early release day, faculty and staff were treated to a delicious catered meal from Bubba’s Silver Spoon, sponsored by the Alabama A&M Huntsville Progressive Alumni Chapter.

Thursday brought even more appreciation as KBR provided incentives for teachers to add to their “teacher treasure chests” throughout the day. First Baptist Church sponsored a morning snack bar for staff, while lunch was generously provided by RHES administration along with Nothing But Noodles. Staff also received customized pens made with love and enjoyed sweet treats from Cookie Fix.

The celebration wrapped up on Friday with coffee and donuts from Dunkin’, dirty sodas and energy drinks from Slurp, and lunch sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union. Administration also ended the week with one final token of appreciation for the incredible RHES staff.

Rolling Hills Elementary is incredibly thankful for every business, organization, and community partner who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so meaningful. Because of their generosity and support, teachers and staff felt truly valued and celebrated throughout the entire week.
