Rolling Hills Elementary was excited to welcome visiting artist Raven Armstead for a special hands-on workshop with our Art Club students. During the workshop, students had the opportunity to paint 3-inch terra cotta pots in Raven’s signature artistic style before planting their own succulents to take home as a lasting reminder of their creativity and hard work.
The project combined artistic expression with a love for nature, giving students a unique experience that encouraged creativity, confidence, and hands-on learning. Students enjoyed exploring color, design, and self-expression while creating something meaningful they could proudly display at home.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Raven Armstead for sharing her talent, creativity, and passion with our students. Her dedication to inspiring young artists made this workshop a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Rolling Hills Elementary would also like to sincerely thank Home Depot for their generous donation of succulents that helped make this project possible. Their continued support of education and community programs provided our students with an exciting opportunity they will remember long after the school year ends.
We are incredibly grateful for community partners and volunteers who continue to invest in the creativity and growth of our students at Rolling Hills Elementary.
