Rolling Hills Elementary students spent September 21–25 exploring their futures during an exciting College & Career Week!
Each day brought a new opportunity for students and staff to celebrate education, careers, and the many possibilities that await our Cougars beyond elementary school.
Monday – Dress for Success: Students kicked off the week dressed for the future, imagining themselves in the careers they may one day pursue.
Tuesday – Trade Day: Students learned about the importance of skilled trades and the many career opportunities available through hands-on training and technical education.
Wednesday – Pajama Day: Students celebrated the idea of dreaming big and thinking about the goals they hope to accomplish one day.
Thursday – Favorite College Day: RHES showed their college pride as students and staff represented colleges and universities they love while learning that college can be an important step toward many careers.
Friday – School Spirit: The week wrapped up with Cougar pride and excitement as students celebrated their school community and everything they learned throughout the week.
A special shout-out goes to RHES Counselor Mr. Antoine, and Ms. Brown, who did an amazing job organizing and bringing College & Career Week to life!
The week concluded with an incredible career exploration experience for our 3rd–5th grade students. Guest speakers from a variety of professions visited with students, sharing what they do, how they chose their careers, and the steps they took to get where they are today.
For our students, these conversations were more than presentations—they were opportunities to see possibilities, ask questions, and begin connecting today's learning to tomorrow's dreams.
At Rolling Hills Elementary, we believe it is never too early to dream big, explore possibilities, and begin preparing for what's next!
College & Career Week 2026 was a week of dreaming, discovering, and Blasting into Excellence!
