Sonnie Hereford Elementary School was filled with excitement, energy, and purpose as students and staff came together for an unforgettable ACAP Pep Rally designed to motivate and prepare students for the upcoming Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP).
The highlight of the event was a powerful performance by the Lee High School Band, whose electrifying sound and high-energy presence immediately set the tone. As the band played, the gymnasium came alive; students clapped, cheered, and felt the momentum building. The performance not only entertained but also inspired confidence and pride, reminding students that they are supported by a strong community that believes in their success.
Following the performance, Principal Walters delivered an impactful and uplifting message to the student body. Speaking with passion and purpose, she reminded students that ACAP is more than just a test; it’s an opportunity to show growth, determination, and mastery of what they’ve been working toward all year. She encouraged every student to stay focused, give their best effort, and believe in their ability to succeed.
The pep rally was full of energy and fun, but it also carried a clear and meaningful message: preparation and confidence are key. From the music to the message, every moment was intentional in building excitement and readiness for the days ahead.
At Sonnie Hereford, we understand that success doesn’t happen by chance, it happens through hard work, encouragement, and a strong belief in our students. As we approach ACAP testing, the Wildcats are not only ready, they are motivated, prepared, and ready to show up and show out.
