Sonnie Hereford Elementary was filled with excitement, laughter, and school spirit as students took part in this year’s Easter Egg Hunt, an event that truly brought joy to our campus.

Students eagerly spread across the school grounds, baskets and bags in hand, searching high and low for colorful eggs. The energy was unmatched as laughter echoed across the field and students celebrated each new find with big smiles and even bigger excitement.

A special highlight of the day was Mr. Jackson, who fully embraced the moment by dressing up as the Easter Bunny. His presence brought an extra level of magic to the event, creating unforgettable moments for students as they interacted, took pictures, and shared in the fun.

Beyond the hunt, teachers made intentional connections back to the classroom by incorporating Easter-themed projects and activities. From creative crafts to engaging lessons, students were able to extend the joy of the day into meaningful learning experiences.

The event was more than just an egg hunt, it was a celebration of community, positivity, and the strong relationships that make Sonnie Hereford such a special place. Days like this remind us that school is not only about learning, but also about creating lasting memories for our students.

It was truly an eventful day filled with fun, laughter, and of course… a little bit of candy!
