As the school year came to a close, the staff at Sonnie Hereford Elementary wanted to make sure our Wildcats finished the year with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. To celebrate an amazing year of growth, hard work, and achievement, we hosted an exciting end-of-year field day experience filled with games, activities, food trucks, and tons of fun for our students.
Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of high-energy races and activities including track races, mobile basketball competitions, potato sack races, relay races, and many other exciting games that kept the energy high from start to finish. The atmosphere was filled with cheers, laughter, school spirit, and friendly competition as students enjoyed time together outside the classroom.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the incredible lineup of food trucks and treats provided for our students. Kona Ice was a huge hit as students cooled off with free shaved ice, while several other food vendors and community partners came out to help provide free food and snacks for our Wildcats. It was truly a community effort focused on rewarding our students for an outstanding school year.
The love, joy, and excitement throughout the day were a reminder that the culture at Sonnie Hereford is truly special. We are thankful for our staff, families, volunteers, and community partners who continue to help make moments like these possible for our Wildcats.
