Whitesburg Parents and Guardians,
It has been a great week of teaching and learning at the Burg!
Our Grandparents Breakfast was a success! Thanks to PTA for all of your hard work. This is one of my favorite days of the year. The students are so excited for everyone to meet their grandparents. There was a mass amount of food, but the amount of grandparents that showed up was much more than expected. PTA pivoted well and when the food got scarce, they quickly supplied more. Thank you for everyone's patience. We will probably go to pre-orders only next year to prevent this from happening again.
I want to ask you all for a favor. If you ever have a problem or concern, please reach out to me instead of putting the problem or concern on social media. I promise if I get a call or email from you, I will get back to you (and usually very timely). I do not want Whitesburg Elementary to ever look negatively to the community. Let's continue to strive for excellence in everything that we do.
