The kids did an amazing job today representing Whitesburg Middle. Below are the results from our 1st Middle School meet of the season.
Congratulations WBMS Track & Field teams. The girls tied for 3rd place and the boys placed 6th overall.
Aaliyah Matthews placed 2nd in High Jump, Kilee Stepp placed 2nd in Triple Jump, Tayler Stepp placed 3rd in Triple Jump and in the 400 meter run, McKenna Ferrell placed 2nd in Shot Put, the 4x400 meter relay team lead by Kilee Stepp, Tayler
Stepp, Le’Aycia Easter, and Desirae Johnson placed 2nd place. Points were also awarded to Nevaeh Jones, Hattie Thomas, Koa Simpson, Harleigh Carroll, Elissa Hall, Zaharia Wherry, and Sophie Sanderson
Titus Watson placed 1st in Long Jump breaking the school record with a jump of 17-08, Austin Abram’s placed 1st in Shot Put and Discus. Points were also awarded to Jack Gay, Jimmy Mathis, and Randall Leftwich.
