We hope you had a wonderful weekend. ACAP Practice Testing is still in session. Testing should be complete by the end of the week. Please have students get to school on time, get a good night’s rest, and eat breakfast in the morning.
Continue to review foundational skills with your scholar such as multiplication facts and reading. We want students to have multiple opportunities to review their math facts and practice reading. You can help your scholar by having them read the newspaper, a sports article, or a particular book they may be interested in. Our goal is to ensure they are on grade level. 7th & 8th graders will be attending field trips this week. 7 graders are traveling to the Tennessee Aquarium on October 28th and November 4th. Students will leave at 8:00 am and return to Whitesburg Middle School at 3:40 pm. This trip will also include the IMAX theater.
Students should bring money for snacks and leave their backpacks at home. 8th graders are traveling to the Birmingham Zoo. Students should bring money for snacks. Please contact the school for questions.
