Whitesburg Middle School

Congratulations to the girls and boys track and field teams on a great season. The girls placed 4th and the boys placed 6th at the HCS Middle School Track & Field Championships. Skylar Bone placed 3rd in the girls 1600 meter run. Kimberlie Washington placed 3rd in Discus. Malaysia Dozier placed 2nd in the girls 400 M Run. Randall Leftwich placed 2nd in the boys Triple Jump. Walter Chark placed 1st in the boys High Jump, 2nd in the boys 200, and 3rd in the boys 400 M run. Walter also broke the school’s High Jump record for the second time with a jump of 6-0. Skylar Bone, Ulysha Ragland, Charlotte Drouin, and Malaysia Dozier placed 3rd in the girls 4x400 meter relay. Points was also earned by Elissa Hall, Eden Clark, Sofia Tonini, Trinity Wright, Jade Braithwaite, Kamari Holmes, Chase Ford, Chance Odoemelam, Charles Hunter, Princeton Tapscott-Davis, Jack Gay, Antonio Townsend, and Phenomenal Lucas.
