Spotlight on the Weatherly Heights Elementary PTA
At Weatherly Heights Elementary, we are fortunate to have an outstanding Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) that consistently goes above and beyond to support our students, teachers, and staff. This parent-led organization is the heart of our school community, dedicating countless volunteer hours to make Weatherly Heights a special place to learn and grow.
Supporting Learning with Curriculum Enhancements
One of the many ways the PTA makes a difference is by purchasing supplemental curriculum materials like WeWillWrite. These resources give teachers additional tools to strengthen instruction and provide students with enriching learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom basics.
Showing Appreciation for Teachers
The PTA also ensures our teachers feel valued and supported. Each month, they organize a Teacher Snack Cart filled with treats and goodies to brighten the day. This thoughtful tradition is always a highlight for staff, reminding us how much our school community appreciates the dedication of its educators.
Creating Memorable Experiences for Students
Our students also benefit from the PTA’s hard work. Fun and engaging events like the Holiday Shop and Boo Bash provide children with opportunities to celebrate together, build lasting memories, and experience the joy of school traditions. These events wouldn’t be possible without the PTA’s commitment and creativity.
A True Team Effort
Behind the scenes, our PTA members devote hours of planning, organizing, and fundraising to bring these programs and events to life. Their tireless efforts directly enrich the school experience for every child at Weatherly Heights, and we are grateful for the time and energy they give so freely.
Thank You, PTA!
From the classroom to the community, the Weatherly Heights Elementary PTA plays an essential role in the success of our school. On behalf of the students and staff, we extend our deepest thanks for all you do. Your dedication makes Weatherly Heights a wonderful place to teach, learn, and grow.
