A group of seven smiling children wearing beaded necklaces stands in front of large windows with purple balloons behind them to celebrate Purple Up Day.

Weatherly Heights was proud to celebrate our military-connected students during a special Purple Up Day reception on April 27.

April is recognized as Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of children in military families. These students serve in their own way as they navigate moves, deployments, new schools, and new beginnings with courage and flexibility.

During the reception, students were recognized and celebrated for the important role they play in our school community. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor them and the families who support them each day.

Thank you to our military-connected students for letting us celebrate you. We are proud of you!
