As the school year comes to a close, Weatherly Heights Elementary is proud to celebrate a year filled with learning, growth, creativity, and community. From the first day of school to the final weeks of May, our Roadrunners have worked hard, tried new things, supported one another, and made this school year truly out of this world.
Throughout the year, students engaged in meaningful classroom learning, special events, service projects, STEAM activities, performances, field trips, clubs, and schoolwide celebrations. Each experience gave students opportunities to build confidence, think creatively, solve problems, and connect with others.
This year also brought many moments that showed the heart of our Weatherly Heights community. Families, teachers, staff members, PTA volunteers, and community partners worked together to support our students in countless ways. Whether helping with events, encouraging students at home, volunteering time, or cheering on our Roadrunners, your support helped make this year successful.
We are especially proud of the way our students continued to grow as learners and leaders. They asked thoughtful questions, shared ideas, explored new challenges, and found ways to make a positive difference in our school community.
Thank you to our families for partnering with us throughout the year. Thank you to our teachers and staff for the care, creativity, and dedication you bring each day. Most of all, thank you to our students for making Weatherly Heights such a special place to learn and grow.
We hope all of our Roadrunner families have a safe, restful, and wonderful summer. We look forward to seeing our returning students next school year and wish our rising middle school students the very best as they begin their next adventure.
Once a Roadrunner, always a Roadrunner.
