The Williams Elementary Greenpower Team had an unforgettable experience at their most recent race event! Over the past several months, these dedicated students have been hard at work designing, building, and preparing their electric Greenpower car—and all their efforts paid off in a big way.
At the race, the team demonstrated outstanding teamwork, communication, and perseverance. From assembling parts to testing systems and making last-minute adjustments, every student played a vital role in getting the car ready for the track. Their collaboration and enthusiasm were truly inspiring to see.
On race day, the excitement was electric! The team worked together to complete each heat, cheering each other on and overcoming challenges as they came up. Even when faced with technical issues, the students showed remarkable problem-solving skills and kept a positive attitude throughout the day.
They had a lot of fun, built lasting memories, and walked away with new STEM skills that will serve them for years to come. The experience brought them closer together and gave them a deeper appreciation for engineering, teamwork, and resilience.
We are incredibly proud of the entire Williams Elementary Greenpower Team—not just for what they accomplished on the track, but for how they supported one another and represented our school with pride. We can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
