On March 4th AGT went to Roller Time on a STEM-related field trip. 90 students from the program were able to attend. Students started with a two-part lesson. Part one students were able to learn about the history of roller skate and how stem is related to it. Then students were split into two groups for the final part of the lesson. Students were able to build a roller skate and then talk about the physics of roller skating. After the lesson, students got time to roller skate. Over all students had a wonderful time and enjoyed having a real life hands on learning experience.
