Students participating in an English activity where they unlocked memories for their personal narrative topics.

Yesterday in Mrs. Newlin's English Language Arts classes, students played the "memory mining" game. Students were tasked with mining 3 memory blocks. When they passed the 3 activities, they were given their final boss (exit ticket). This was a fun hands-on learning activity based on the game Minecraft to unlock their memories for their personal narrative topics. By the end of class, they chose a topic for their personal narratives and started a story map.
