The Golden Apple Gala, hosted by The Schools Foundation, honored teachers of the year from Madison City, Madison County, and Huntsville City Schools. Mrs. Newlin was selected as Williams Middle School's teacher of the year. Attendees ranged from superintendents, government officials, principals, teachers, and school board members. Mrs. Newlin was supported in attendance by Principal Shipman, her husband, Zack, her parents, and her in-laws at this event. Congratulations to Mrs. Newlin.
