Freshman Eli Hutchinson received his first promotion in the Space Force JROTC program. He was promoted to Cadet Airman, receiving a new rank insignia to wear on his uniform.
"This promotion means that I have worked hard to show that I am responsible, I have a positive attitude and I have integrity," Hutchinson said.
Hutchinson, who is in his first Space Force JROTC course, says he enjoys the flight simulator activities and that he hopes to do more of these types of activities in the future. He has also marched in two parades as part of the program.
"I am getting to meet nice students through the program," Hutchinson said. "My next promotion will be Cadet Airman First Class. I have to keep working hard in class and doing my lessons to get that promotion."
