Media specialist, Stephanie Clemons and principal, Dr. Jennifer McKinney accepted a $1,000 STEM grant from the Optimist Club of Huntsville.
The grant will be used to purchase STEM related materials for various student activities and to curate STEM print materials in the school's media center. Clemons applied for the grant.
"We are grateful to the Optimist Club for believing enough in our STEM projects to grant us these funds," McKinney said. "We are excited about the opportunities our students will have to engage in STEM learning that these funds can provide."
