Artemis sophomore Graham Gossett has been named to AL.com's north Alabama Breakout Player of the Year.
As a Huntsville High School varsity player, Gossett averaged 12.1 points a game and shot 41 percent from behind the arc. He was also named the MVP of 7A, Area 7 tournament.
Gossett and his brother and teammate Hudson, have been Artemis students for the past two years where they have been able to train for basketball along with working on their academics in a virtual setting.
"I am so grateful to have won the Breakout Player of the Year," Gossett said.
