First grade has had the exciting opportunity to witness the miracle of life by hatching chicks this year! A total of 20 healthy, strong chicks hatched in our classrooms, bringing joy and wonder to our students.
Throughout this experience, our young learners discovered how to care for, treat, and gently handle their fluffy new friends. The chick hatching project offered rich, hands-on learning across the curriculum—from science and math to reading and writing—and created special memories that our first graders will never forget!
