Columbia High School has a virtual day on this Friday. No students, faculty or staff are allowed on campus.
All HCS schools will be out of school on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Academics
Make sure to monitor you scholar's grades in PowerSchool at least once a week.
If you have any questions about grades, please contact the teacher directly.
Attendance
Please be sure your scholar is attending school daily.
As a friendly reminder, if a scholar misses more than 15 days of school, they will not be allowed to participate in any clubs or sports.

Athletics
Congratulations to our Volleyball Team for the win over Lee High School on last week and to our Football team of the win over East Limestone.
Our Football team is 2-0 for only the second time in school history and our school has never started the season 3-0 so let's continue to write history together this year.
Monday:
Baseball interest meeting will be during F45 in the Aux Gym.
JV football will travel to Lindsey Lane for a 6:00 game tomorrow night.
Tuesday:
Bowling team interest meeting during F45 in the Aux Gym.
Eagle Volleyball will be in action as we travel to Athens with games starting at 4:30 PM.
Wednesday:
No sports events.
Ticket sales for in-school volleyball game can be purchased for $3 on Thursday during lunch.
Thursday:
Football game is Thursday at Joe Davis Stadium 7:00 PM.
Football team will be in action Friday night for a big game against Mae Jemision High School. First 100 students to sign up in the morning will get free admission into the game and free transportation to the game. Please keep in mind, transportation will only be provided to the stadium.
Thursday is a white out so we are asking everyone to wear white for the big game.
Eagles Volleyball will have an in-school game as we host Kingdom Heights. Tickets will be sold on Thursday during lunch.
Eagles Flag football that was scheduled for Thursday will be rescheduled and we will announce as soon as a new date has been confirmed.
Friday:
Virtual Day- no sports events and no practices.
Make sure we are all doing our part to "Protect the Nest"!
