Students from CMS looking at sting rays at the McWane Science Center

Challenger Middle School students visited the McWane Science Center on a field trip. Students explored multiple floors of hands-on science exhibits, including how electricity works, architectural experiments, and animal life. They enjoyed interactive experiences such as petting sharks and stingrays and observing a variety of aquatic animals.

Students also participated in an hour-long IMAX show and attended a live, employee-led electricity demonstration. Throughout the trip, students were highly engaged and excited. It was great to see them confidently answer questions and make connections to concepts they have been learning in their science classes at CMS.
